After graduating from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, I began teaching math and coaching in the Elkhorn Public School system. I met my wife Laura while in Lincoln, and we married in 1994, the summer before I began working for Elkhorn. We have three boys, Gavin (8), Eli (6) and Bowdie (2). After having Eli and being in Elkhorn for 8 years, we moved to Grand Island to be closer to Laura's family. As part of the move, I completed a Masters degree in Technology and Education and now teach computer programming and computer networking at Grand Island Senior High and coach the boys golf team. Laura is a Physician Assistant at Grand Island Dermatology.
I spend my summers with the three boys fishing, golfing and investigating whatever bug crosses our path. Laura and I enjoy traveling, family and friends, and when I get a moment alone I try to sneak away to the golf course.
