After 3 majors and 3 universities I finished a degree at UNO in 1995. I met my wife Chris in 1996 and we were married in 1998. We have 4 children, Klaire (6), Grahm (4), Elizabeth (2), and Asher (10 mo). The same year I met Chris, I started my own business. We spent the next 8 years in Blair, with me doing concrete and masonry work and Chris running an in-home daycare.

I joined the Nebraska Army National Guard to help pay for school in 1991. In 2004 I took a full-time job with the Guard and we moved to Lincoln. After 1 year in Lincoln we spent a year living and working in Gering, NE. While we were in Gering I was mobilized to go to Iraq and Chris and the kids moved back to Lincoln. While in Iraq some crazy Turkish barber gave me the haircut I now sport. We currently live in Lincoln and I work at the airbase just off the interstate. We enjoy the occasional Lincoln Stars Hockey game and I try to play volleyball a couple nights a week.
